A Memorable Interpretation
The students’ performances were breathtaking, paying tribute to the texts with finesse, intelligence, and a great sense of humor. The audience was captivated from the moment the curtain rose on the “Opéra Grammatical”, a fast-paced play that brilliantly combines pedagogy and theater. The students then moved on to “Le Malade Imaginaire,” one of Molière’s masterpieces, making us laugh and reflect at the same time. The maturity of their acting, their mastery of the stage, and their interpretation of the characters were simply impressive.
An Ambitious Project
It is important to highlight the hard work and commitment of the teachers who made this project possible. Thanks to their passion and dedication, they were able to pass on the love of theater to their students, thus offering them an educationally enriching experience. These performances were the culmination of months of rehearsals, preparation, and teamwork. Thank you, dear teachers, for your essential contribution to the success of this evening.
A Feast for the Eyes
The atmosphere of the evening was enhanced by the costumes designed by Madame Carole, our exceptional costume designer. Each costume not only reflected the era and status of the characters but also their personality, adding another layer of depth to the performance. Her creations literally lit up the stage, making the evening a true feast for the eyes.
A Moment of Cultural Sharing
This theatrical evening highlighted the invaluable role of the arts in educating our young people. It also demonstrated how much our school community can achieve when we work together with passion and commitment.
I look forward to the next AMC Theater Club performance and we are convinced that our students will continue to amaze us with their talent and creativity.
